As a business established in the Outaouais region since 1981, we have a responsibility to reflect on our ways of doing things, our technology choices and the impact of our operations on our community. Sustainable development is no longer just a trend: it’s a necessity for building organizations that are more responsible, more resilient and better prepared for the future.
That’s why GMS Sécurité has joined the Good4Global movement. This policy sets out our intentions regarding our environmental and social responsibility.
We adhere to the definition put forward by the Government of Quebec under the Sustainable Development Act: “Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Sustainable development is based on a long-term vision that takes into account the inseparable nature of the environmental, social and economic dimensions of development activities.”

Empower individuals to live healthy lives and promote well-being at all ages.

Ensure equal access to quality education for all and promote lifelong learning opportunities.

Establish sustainable consumption and production patterns, understand the interconnection between personal and collective decisions, and perceive the impacts of our behaviours.
Committed to our region, we support causes that promote health and education, and that provide the essential goods to ensure vulnerable people have basic security and to improve their future prospects. So we can all benefit together from a healthy living environment, we also support organizations whose primary mission is the protection of the environment, and more specifically everything related to the fight against waste, recovery, repair and the revalorization of objects.
Many policies govern our work and are regularly updated to ensure that the best practices are maintained, reflecting our commitments to sustainable development. Our staff also has access to a guide that directs their actions in accordance with these policies.
